Comments: The cursor is good because it is large and obvious when it changes. The HO scenes followed with the rest of the game artwork which is always a bonus with me but the items were pretty hard to find. The puzzles were a bit confusing seeing as you easily overlook the hints. The journal, while beautifully illustrated, had large boring font. I felt like the font should have been something more flowing like handwriting.
The plot is like most that have a father dying and having a massive estate, think Margrave Manor combined with supernatural shiz like Briar Rose. Unfortunately there is no spoken dialogue which isn't so great. There's a lot of written notes lying around so it would have been nice not to have to read everything in the cutscenes as well. It did have a pretty shocking twist which might not be so great if a kid is playing and you stumble across a dead body...
