Comments: This had a nice starting cutscene before the menu but was kinda ruined the minute I saw the human figure. The animation until then had been nice but the 3D figure looked reminiscent of Dreamland... and we all remember how that one turned out. At least you could skip it if you wanted. Despite my worries it actually didn't have a lot of cutscenes involving full shots of people.

I was rather disappointed in how badly dubbed this game is. It's seriously in the league of Kung Pow its that bad. I would have just been better if the mouths just didn't move at all. Plus the people who were the voices had strange pauses (station. master! remember that game? oh boy).

The journal in this was good. It wasn't fantastic but I liked how it was set out with burnt pages and notes scribbles around pictures. It was nice, better than most I'll give it that much. It was also good that when it updated it you could click it and open it directly on the page you had written on. Some of the way the items worked was a bit irritating. I mean, sure, you can chop down a whole tree in one go but you gotta pull all those nails out one by one. Painfully slow as well.

The movement in this is what let it down the most. I mean, there was a map in this, to which I am eternally grateful. It really was a life saver. Without it I would have walked here, there and everywhere for a simple key or something that I forgot to pick up before. But anyway, the map, while it is helpful, was still annoying because you had to walk everywhere. And seriously, there's a lot of walking in this game! Across a river and everything! I was hoping that by having the map I could click on a place and it would take me there but no. That's just too logical, isn't it? Instead, let's walk all the way from the farmhouse to the other side of a river. Because that's fun.
