Comments: The cutscenes has vastly different artwork to the rest of the game. The scenes were like drawings yet the rest of the game is in 3D graphics. I have to admit, the journal was pretty sweet. Very much like MCF:RtR it has an old photo, blood spatter and bullets on one page, clear writing but not so that it disrupted the feel of the journal. Nice handwriting script. I did like the suspect card that they had. Like the cutscenes they were just hand drawn cards.
The cursor was nice. It was big enough to see and it changed when you could pick up an object or move to another screen. Items on the ground sparkled every now and then in case you missed them at first glance which always helps me out as I have a habit of missing things. It was rather irritating in HO scenes though because it rotated, making it look like it was hinting at something. When there was plot progression, meaning talk to someone, there was a flashing blue exclamation mark above their heads. If you missed what they said you could always just click them again.
